Version 1.1 · Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Why this Code exists

At Lerian we value an ethical, safe, and respectful environment for everyone who interacts with our company — personnel, partners, suppliers, and clients. This Code of Ethics and Conduct guides the behavior that must govern all our relationships, in person or digital, ensuring integrity, accountability, and alignment with market best practices.

This document reflects what we expect from those who work with us, and reinforces our commitment to a more ethical, secure, and trustworthy technology ecosystem.

2. Who it applies to

This Code applies to all personnel, officers, partners, business partners, service providers, and any person acting on Lerian's behalf or taking part in environments controlled or promoted by us — including technical forums, collaboration projects, events, digital channels, and company platforms.

3. What we expect from you

When acting on Lerian's behalf, or in environments connected to the company, we expect you to:

  • Contribute to a respectful, safe, and collaborative environment, free of intimidation, harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
  • Act with honesty and accountability, taking care in the use of company resources and of the information you have access to.
  • Avoid any form of corruption, bribery, improper favoritism, or conflict of interest.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, both local and international, as well as Lerian's internal policies.
  • Preserve the confidentiality of data and of technical, strategic, or personal information obtained in the course of your work.
  • Report inappropriate conduct through the channels indicated, responsibly and in good faith.

4. What you must not do

The following conduct is prohibited and violates this Code:

  • Any form of harassment, offense, intimidation, or discrimination, including on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, origin, age, among other personal characteristics;
  • Hate speech or offensive content in physical or digital environments associated with Lerian;
  • Obtaining an improper advantage, misusing information, or taking part in fraud;
  • Interfering with the operation of channels or events promoted by Lerian;
  • Infringing intellectual property rights or confidentiality, or unauthorized use of information belonging to the company or to third parties.

5. Conduct in digital environments

Lerian promotes interaction in technical forums, open source communities, social platforms, and other digital spaces. When taking part in those spaces:

  • Maintain the same standard of respect, integrity, and professionalism required in person;
  • Avoid offensive or provocative language and any kind of abusive behavior;
  • Respect each channel's rules and the moderation exercised by Lerian representatives.

6. Consequences of violations

Violating this Code may result in corrective measures, including:

  • Formal warnings;
  • Termination of contracts or engagements with Lerian;
  • Restricted access to channels, events, tools, or platforms;
  • Notification of the competent authorities, where applicable;

Measures will be applied impartially and proportionately, observing the principles of good faith and the right to be heard.

7. How to report inappropriate conduct

If you witness or are subjected to behavior incompatible with this Code, contact Lerian's Compliance team directly: integrity@lerian.studio

All communications will be treated with confidentiality and respect. Lerian guarantees that no one will be retaliated against for reporting, in good faith, a suspicion or concern.

8. Language and prevailing version

This Code was originally drafted in Portuguese. In the event of any divergence between the Portuguese, English, and Spanish versions, the Portuguese version prevails.
